Established in 2016, Kopplen launched its first USB-C hub designed for the then-new 12-inch MacBook, followed by a groundbreaking MacBook Pro compatible USB-C hub with HDMI functionality. To our surprise, both products gained positive feedback from our customers throughout the North American market as opposed to our concern on their overall performance, though they have been undertaken rigorous tests prior to leaving our production line.
As an electrical engineer himself, our CEO, Herman Lau, made his decision to expand his products line by integrating more products that are essential to set up a seamless workspace as a whole.
Expansion of Products
In 2023, we were among the first few companies to have successfully obtained approval for an Apply FindMyCertified tag called the Omnitag Essentials Locator.
Building on this momentum, Kopplen expanded its presence in the scene by launching a series of products related to audio cables, HDMI cables, or hubs, and eventually workspace-enhancing products such as monitor arms, ergonomic chairs, and standing desks. Since 2017, we have developed more than 100 active SKUs. Some are no longer available due to their substandard performance.

Where do you ship to?
Currently, we ship to Canada and the United States. We are planning to expand our reach in the near future. Sign up to our newsletter to be the first to know when we can ship to you.

Our warehouse is based in Canada.
How long will it take to get my order?
Orders ship throughout Canada will take 3–7 business days before arriving, and orders ship to the USA will take 5-7 business days. 1 day of order processing time is included.
Can I place an order without creating an account?
Yes. You can place an order as a guest. However, we recommend creating an account if you’d like to check your order history, have your shopping basket items and payment details automatically saved for easy next shopping.
My device is charging slowly, is there something wrong?
There are several factors that can contribute to your device charging more slowly than expected. The speed at which a device charges is influenced by numerous factors, with the most significant being the current battery usage. For instance, if you are actively using your phone while it charges—especially at maximum brightness, with Bluetooth and WiFi enabled—it will charge much more slowly compared to leaving it idle on a desk.
Introduced in iOS 13, this feature can dramatically slow down charging when the battery reaches 80% in order to preserve long-term battery health. This trade-off may or may not be desirable depending on the user's needs.
If you want to disable the Optimized Battery Charging feature on an iOS device, you can do so by going to Settings > Battery > Battery Health > Optimized Battery Charging and turning it off.
Overall, understanding the factors that impact charging speed, such as battery drain and size, as well as any software-driven battery optimization features, can help you troubleshoot and improve the charging experience on your device.

Device is getting hot when charging, is this normal?
It's perfectly normal for your device to heat up during charging.
Generally, electronic devices can withstand higher temperatures than what feels warm or hot to human skin. Most devices and chargers come equipped with built-in temperature sensors that help monitor and manage charging temperatures, ensuring that they remain within safe limits to prevent any potential damage.
